This course explores the reasons behind gender gap in the scientific field related to social and cultural norms, as well as examines the barriers facing by women in STEM fields across different countries and cultures. It also focuses on how to narrow this gender gap. My role in this course involved developing and delivering materials for small group discussion and problem-based tutorials. I have also designed an assessment on poster presentation which explores the contributions of past and present women in STEM.
